As our
People Operations Senior Associate EMEA you will be critical to the stability of our People Operations Center, with primary responsible for our UK, Ireland and South Africa offices.
You will have the opportunity to work with a team which has been ramped up in the past 2 years, with further development and improvements scheduled for the next few years. As the central contact person, you will provide advice along the entire employee lifecycle thus giving guidance for all employees within a completely new organization and ensuring high operational excellence. This role is envisaged as a 12 month fixed term contract;
The Responsibilities
Regional Management: Oversee HR operations for Ireland, South Africa, and the UK, ensuring effective team collaboration.
Customer Service: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, resolving HR queries and transactions within SLAs.
Lifecycle Processes: Manage all employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits, and leave management.
First Point of Contact: Provide operational support and guidance throughout the employee lifecycle via the PeopleDoc system.
System Expertise: Maintain data accuracy in Workday and ensure data integrity and compliance with best practices.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to internal controls, data protection regulations, and proper document management.
Collaboration: Partner with HRBPs and leaders across the EMEA region to align HR strategies and processes.
HR Center Development: Contribute to building the HR Operations Center by advising on processes and supporting key stakeholders.
Change Management: Support business transformation initiatives and adapt to evolving organizational needs.
Training & Support: Coach managers and employees on HR systems, fostering a collaborative and efficient environment.
About You
- You have a hands-on mentality and the drive to create things from the ground up
- You are an organizational talent and know how to manage the operational day-to-day business in a face-paced, ever-changing environment
- You bring an analytical and process-driven mindset and a problem-solving attitude to work
- You have empathic understanding for the needs of employees and external partners
- You have good communication and consulting skills and enjoy collaborating with different teams, countries, and departments
- You have experience supporting European countries
- You have good experience of the legal framework and challenges in your primary location, and ideally other European locations
- Ideally you will have experience using Workday as a system however this is not essential.
