This is a permanent role - located in our Bristol Office - We offer a hybrid working model.

Job Purpose

This role involves supporting the improvement and implementation of processes to enhance operational efficiency. The job holder will identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and ensure the accuracy of administrative data across all HR platforms. This position is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our HR systems and supporting the overall effectiveness of the People Function at National Grid.

What You'll Do

  • Support the People Services Manager with administrative tasks.
  • Administer NG to NGED information requests and provide ad hoc data reports.
  • Run monthly reports for the NG induction process and evaluate weekly data check reports.
  • Maintain SharePoint for employee benefits and keep process maps updated.
  • Serve as the point of contact for E5 tasks, including purchase orders and invoices.
  • Respond to NGED benefits applications and inquiries (BUPA, Benefits, Pension).
  • Liaise with Finance, IT, and E5 for effective communication.
  • Assist with security vetting, clearance, and DBS administration.
  • Help with system structure updates and monthly reports/audits.
  • Address Tripad and ATS queries and provide monthly transport updates.
  • Ensure compliance in Resource Link and support employee life cycle administration.
  • Respond to DSAR requests and assist with sickness process administration.
  • Administer holiday accrual and manage internal post and ID card processes.
  • Handle employee requests for mortgages, tenants, and employment references.
  • Log IPA’s, PDR’s, fit notes, and ad hoc requests in the HRIS.


About You

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Resource Link or similar HRIS.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and identify priorities.
  • Proficient computer skills, with the ability to create and manipulate data outputs.
  • Critical thinker and problem solver, with strong attention to detail.
  • Capable of handling large volume tasks efficiently.
  • Flexible in adapting to changing day-to-day plans.
  • Experience working with ticket-based systems.
  • CIPD Level 3 would be a bonus


What You'll Get

A competitive salary £25,000 - £27,000 dependent on capability

As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
