Role And Responsibilities
- Operational HR support, adherence to process and management of data:
- Provide standardised, consistent, accurate, People Services support through effective global and local policies and processes and in line with GPS Service Catalogue and corresponding SLAs.
- Management of the entire employee lifecycle for a specific Country or employee group.
- Expert use of technology (HRIS) to deliver customer focused services.
- Provision of data, information and reporting and an understanding of the importance of data integrity and data record keeping.
- Delivery and implementation of people global programmes and initiatives in line with the annual People Function Activities:
- Support delivery of talent solutions, including talent reviews, performance leadership, development, succession planning, employee engagement, assist the Recruitment Team with hiring processes, offer administration, contribute to global learning programs, compensation cycles, payroll, and benefits administration in alignment with PBPs and People CoEs.
- Adherence to local legislation and employment law:
- Ensure HR practices comply with company standards and procedures as well as with local labour regulation and legislation.
- Lead employee relations issues and cases within a specific Country or for an employee group.
- Other related duties as assigned or required as part of the wider People team strategy:
- Support in Country manager meetings related to People topics and activities.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned, providing proactive responses to employee and organisational queries actively contributing to our guiding principles and behaviours.
- Work as part of project teams if required to share best practices, focus on continuous improvement, implement changes and new processes to create working efficiencies, reduce costs and improve quality.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience of HR in different areas in progressively responsible roles in companies of comparable size and complexity.
- Experience of working in a global environment desirable.
- Business level English written and spoken.
- Act locally, think globally
- Ability to focus under pressure
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to drive processes and to deliver high quality services in a fast-paced, high-change environment
- Strong skills at building relationships with various levels within a function and across an organisation
- Strong data management skills. Recognises the importance of data integrity and data management.
- Strong work ethic, highly discrete and can handle sensitive and confidential employee information
- Knowledge of local labour laws; ability to quickly learn international regulations
