As our People & Talent Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional employee experience by supporting both our People Operations and Talent functions. You will be the first point of contact for employee queries raised via our People Ops & Talent service desk (JIRA), ensuring timely and effective support. You’ll also work closely with the Talent Lead to manage onboarding processes, including contracts, background checks, and structured onboarding plans — helping to ensure every new joiner feels welcomed, prepared, and supported.
Your work will contribute to a scalable, responsive, and people-focused function, supporting the operational backbone of the People Operations department while championing our leadership principles at every touchpoint.
Key Accountabilities:
People Operations Support
- Monitor and respond to employee queries via the People Ops & Talent service desk (JIRA), escalating where appropriate and ensuring SLA targets are met.
- Maintain accurate employee records across internal systems, including the HR drive and HRIS (HiBob).
- Provide flexible, ad hoc administrative support, including preparing employee letters, updating policies, filing documents, scheduling meetings, and assisting with audits.
- Support the administration and compliance of policies such as the Working Abroad policy, in collaboration with teams like InfoSec.
- Contribute to internal projects across engagement, learning & development, and policy improvement.
Talent Support
- Partner with the Talent Lead to coordinate onboarding processes for incoming employees.
- Assist in managing the administration of offer letters and employment contracts via Contractbook.
- Assist with background checks using Verifile to ensure pre-employment compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Coordinate the tracking of 30:60:90 day onboarding plans, working with the Talent Lead to ensure clarity and follow-through.
- Support the gathering and analysis of feedback from new employees during their onboarding journey to continuously improve the experience.
- Assist the Talent Lead with interview coordination, including scheduling & candidate communication to ensure a smooth experience.
Skills & Experience:
- 1+ years’ experience in a People or HR role within a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively under pressure.
- Experience handling incoming employee support requests or tickets — JIRA or similar platform experience is a strong plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with a warm and people-first approach to service.
- Comfortable with tools like GSuite and HRIS platforms (HiBob experience is a bonus).
- Familiarity with onboarding processes and tools (e.g., Contractbook, Verifile).
- A proactive and dependable approach to supporting others.
- A passion for making the employee experience smooth and positive.
- A team mindset and a willingness to flex across People and Talent needs.
- A curiosity for improving processes and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
