We are looking for a Pick-Pack/VAS Team Leader to co-supervise a team, engaged primarily in the Picking and Packing of stock within our warehouse operation. Ensuring the daily targets are achieved and the cut off times are met, so the orders can be shipped as per our Service Level Agreement. Also making sure the Pick-Pack, Induct, SAWS or Vas areas are manned and operable as and when required by the business, and to maintain and update all reporting procedures using various business applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide First line coaching and training to Senior Operatives to ensure a high level of productivity and performance,
• Ensure the Ecommerce orders are picked and packed in line with our shipping agreements to the customer, providing more staff as and when needed in the area.
• To prioritize At-Once orders that publish daily for same day shipment,
• Ensure the system runs smoothly throughout the day, attending to any stoppages and/or crashes when required.
• To liaise with Recruitment Reps regarding weekly head count, staffing and any other issues that may arise.
• To ensure Pick-Pack and VAS maintain adequate stock levels of all boxes and Sundries so continuous production can be maintained.
• Making sure the Timesheets are correct and uploaded for all the Distribution Centre Employees.
• Be a people manager to your Direct Reports
  
  

Required Skills And Competencies To Consider Before Applying

• Ideally a Senior Operative with Previous experience of working in Pick-Pack/VAS;
• A high level of customer orientation;
• Proven team leadership skills;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Ability to collaborate and build internal and external partnerships;
• Flexibility;
• Initiative;
• Good communication skills;
• PC skills – Good understanding and knowledge of computer databases;
