Plymouth City Council’s Fleet Services Department are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician, HGV/LGV mechanical fitter to joins its team within the garage based at the Prince Rock Depot.

Working 37 hours a week with optional overtime available with business need.

You will be required to Inspect, service and maintain a wide range of Light commercial and HGV vehicles to ensure the highest standards of roadworthiness maintaining any health and safety and legistrative requirements.

NVQ level 2 or equivalent education is required, additional training can be supplied.

Class 2 LGV licence, ability to carry out electrical repairs and welding would be beneficial to the role.

Shift rota and working times can be negotiated at interview
