Advert Wording
The placements service has two vacancies for placement officers, are looking for applicants to be confident in their ability to communicate and liaise with internal and external professionals including social workers, foster carers and residential providers.
Applicants must be able to receive and review information about children and young people’s needs, experiences and presentation.
Utilising this to search for and identify suitable homes for them if and when they cannot remain with family or friends and need a safe and secure home to live in.
Applicants must be comfortable with quality assuring documents and providing feedback to professionals, as well as having challenging conversations when necessary.
The search for these homes are often time sensitive and as such there is a level of pressure to deliver a positive outcome for our children and young people.
The team are tenacious and passionate about their role and the impact their work has on children and young people and as such we are looking for someone who is also passionate about positive outcomes for children and young people.
Whilst we support employee’s to be flexible these posts are for 37 hours over 5 days to meet service need.
