Plant Manager (Wastewater Treatment)
Responsibilities
- Oversee: Daily plant operations, ensuring wastewater treatment efficiency and compliance.
- Lead: Manage and develop a small team of operators, providing training and guidance. The Plant Manager will be supported by a team of technical experts and senior managers.
- Coordinate: Handle procurement, budget oversight, and customer liaison.
- Improve: Implement continuous improvement (CI) initiatives to enhance plant performance.
- Ensure: Maintain health, safety, and environmental standards, promoting a strong safety culture.
Qualifications
- Experience: Managing plant operations, technicians, or operators in an industrial setting.
- Safety: Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in plant operations.
- Technical: Familiarity with SCADA systems, plant monitoring, and data interpretation.
- Skills: Strong decision-making, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Qualifications: A-levels or vocational training; mechanical/electrical knowledge is a plus.
