Platform Engineer

Synechron is looking for a Windows DevOps Platform Engineer to join their fast growing, close-knit, Belfast office. The role is permanent, working as part of a global team on a large 2-3 year project within the Markets Technology space , including Equities Tech, Fixed Income Tech, and Markets Ops Tech. Other featured areas will be Finance, Market and Credit Risk Tech.

Role:

• Observability, metrics, release tooling, uDeploy, Grid
• Development and maintenance of services of the compute platform that provides metrics to support decision making that includes job scheduling and calculations
• All EOVS and Platform Hygiene
• Autosys, EOD orchestration, dependency management

Job Requirements:

• Scripting - Powershell, Autosys, C#, Unix Shell
• Experience in an enterprise microservices environment
• Experience in platform orchestration and feeds
