Manchester / Stoke / Peterborough - Remote with minimal travel

We’re looking for an experienced PMO Analyst to join our Distribution Change Team, playing a vital role in ensuring projects are delivered in line with organisational standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks. You’ll work across a busy portfolio of change initiatives, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance at every stage of the project lifecycle.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Monitoring adherence to project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Conducting regular health checks, compliance assessments, and quality reviews of project deliverables.
  • Ensuring projects meet governance standards, including financial management, resource planning, and reporting accuracy.
  • Proactively identifying and mitigating risks and issues before they impact delivery.
  • Presenting findings and improvement proposals to senior leadership.
  • Acting as the central point of contact between project teams and leadership - ensuring clear communication and expectations.
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of the internal Change Framework by feeding into the Centre of Excellence.
  • Advocating and enforcing standards across diverse project teams, helping deliver consistent and high-quality outcomes.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Strong experience working across multiple, simultaneous projects in a PMO or project assurance role.
  • In-depth knowledge of change and project delivery frameworks and lifecycle best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with PPM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA, MS Project).
  • Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, from delivery teams to leadership.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a clear analytical mindset.
  • A passion for continuous improvement, risk management, and quality assurance.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow, JIRA, and Microsoft Project
  • Familiar with risk and issue tracking tools and methodologies
