About The Job

Salary: £33,945 - £36,648 a year

Hours per week: 37

Contract type: Permanent

We are looking for a proactive and organised PMO Analyst to join our team. In this role, you'll work closely with a project team, supporting the delivery of key initiatives and ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish. You’ll be responsible for compiling clear and concise reports that are delivered to Programme Boards, helping to shape the direction of our projects. Your ability to juggle multiple tasks at different stages of progress will be crucial to keep things moving efficiently.

This is a fast-paced, dynamic role where you’ll need to adapt to changing priorities and troubleshoot any issues that arise during important events or meetings. You’ll also play a key role in facilitating these events, making sure everything goes as planned. Working with a variety of people, from stakeholders to project team members, you’ll be a key player in the delivery of successful projects.

About You

You have experience working within project teams and understand the demands of delivering under tight deadlines. You excel at creating well-written and grammatically correct documents, and you're confident using IT systems, including word processing, spreadsheets, and internet applications, to ensure your work is of the highest quality.

Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills are second nature to you, and you're used to managing multiple work streams at various stages of progress. You thrive in a fast-paced, changeable environment, and have the skills to facilitate important events, resolve problems on the fly, and ensure everything runs without a hitch.

You have a solid understanding of project management principles and hold a qualification like the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ). You're also keenly aware of discrimination issues and know how to take appropriate action when necessary to ensure fairness and equality in the workplace or service delivery.

We’re excited to meet someone who is passionate about project management and ready to take the next step in their career with us!

Application Process

Because of the nature of this job, it will be necessary for the appropriate level of criminal record disclosure to be undertaken. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore applicants are required to declare all unspent cautions and convictions; and also any adult cautions (simple or conditional), and spent convictions that are not protected as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2020). A person’s criminal record will not in itself prevent a person from being appointed to this post. Applicants will not be refused posts because of offences which are not relevant to, and do not place them at or make them a risk in, the role for which they are applying. However in the event of the employment being taken up, any failure to disclose such offence, as detailed above, will result in dismissal or disciplinary action by the Authority.
