Job Description
The role of the POI Factory Digital Technology Lead is a 12-18 month assignment focused on building and deploying a comprehensive strategy and resource model for ensuring that our factory technology is resilient, secure, compliant, and efficient. With business transformations on the horizon, now is the critical time to create the support model for factories across Pet Nutrition and Royal Canin, which contribute to $25B+ in NSV and is expected to increase to $35B by 2030. This role will ensure that for all factory Digital Technology Assets, factories will be appropriately staffed with accountable positions to ensure POI compliance by the end of 2026.
What are we looking for?
- Proficient in manufacturing processes and systems management
- Strong experience working in CPG/Services Industry with global scope
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, supply chain, engineering, or relevant technical discipline.
- Working experience in IT, Strategy, Project management, or Systems process improvement preferred
What will be your key responsibilities?
Assessment of current status of factory technology in terms of:
- Technology ownership & Support (for maintenance & compliance tasks)
- Requirements for POI assessment: including information security, compliance, Mars CMDB, lifecycle management, Disaster Recovery Capabilities.
- Factory DT fundamental network (internet) connectivity and existing responsibilities across Mars supporting Pet Nutrition and Royal Canin factories.
Through Stakeholder And Peer Interviews
- Determine the existing workstreams around Factory Digital Technologies and form a cohesive map of dependencies and overlaps.
- Establish an aligned view of success criteria as it relates to POI Compliance and operating model, including resource and budget impacts.
Create a set of recommendations for review and approval including:
- A plan and roadmap/timelines outlining the key milestones and actions for getting to the aligned ‘end state’ of a POI Compliant and effective factory DT resource model.
- Including financial and operating model impacts for each recommendation.
Begin the execution of the aligned and approved plan with key stakeholder involvement.
