Do you have strong research, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills? We are looking for a proactive and analytical Project Support Officer to join our Skills and Workforce Policy team.

The Skills and Workforce Policy branch within the Department for Innovation and Growth leads the City of London Corporation’s work in ensuring that London and the UK cultivates a strong pipeline of skills and talent for the UK financial and professional services in order to ensure the sector can sustain its long-term global competitiveness.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
✔ Provide project support, including research, project planning, and progress monitoring.
✔ Contribute to policy development on skills and inclusive employment.
✔ Support Section 106 obligations by working with construction developers on Employment and Skills Plans (ESPs) and social value monitoring.
✔ Engage with external stakeholders, including developers, policymakers, and industry leaders.
✔ Research best practices and help shape impactful employment and training initiatives.
✔ Draft reports, briefings, presentations, and communication materials.
✔ Work collaboratively to align projects across the organisation.
About You, you will have:
✔ A degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field.
✔ Experience in research and policy development within skills or diversity and inclusion.
✔ Strong project management and analytical skills.
✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
✔ Knowledge of Section 106 obligations (preferred) or the ability to learn quickly.
✔ Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
