Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is looking to appoint a Postgraduate Education Fellow for the 'Leading through Education for Excellent Patient Care' (LEEP) Program. This post is an exciting opportunity for a Resident Doctor to formally develop their Medical Education experience and for those who want to make a commitment to education as part of their career.
This is one-year fixed term ‘out of programme’ post, based at the West Middlesex Hospital site commencing anytime between August - early September 2025
Please note you should only apply for the post if the following criteria are met:
- Fully GMC registered.
- Have significant experience of working in the NHS.
- At a more senior level of training than IMT2/CT2.
- Able to attend either virtual or face-to-face interview if shortlisted – anticipated 9th or 16th July 2025 (it will one of these dates, not both)
- Able to take post anywhere between August - early September 2025 for a 1-year fixed term post – some flexibility may be afforded here depending on speciality rotation dates.
The successful applicant should aim to use the year to build on their personal teaching experience, develop expertise in education theory and practice and undertake supervised educational research. They will also be expected to maintain and develop the program across the Trust and London as this is Pan-London role.
There is no on-call work with this role.
**We are also interviewing for an extra role within the NWL International Medical Graduates (IMG) Hub which is a 6 month FTC post for an Education Fellow commencing in October and running until 31st March 2026. There may be scope for this role to be extended beyond March 2026.**
