The Opportunity

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our PR & Partnerships team who can be a trusted and autonomous owner of client relationships and projects. This is a fun, creative and fast-paced role within an integrated agency.

As a member of our front-line media and influencer team you will be responsible for developing and maintaining consumer media relationships and utilising them to generate press coverage, as well as knowing the influencer landscapes and the right agents to have on speed dial.

You’ll be passionate about coming up with big, bold, creative ideas that drive real business outcomes. There will also be the opportunity to work with talent and brand partners, creating relationships and developing content/organising events for our clients.

Working across our key accounts, and closely with the Iris social team, you will have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of activities from everyday channel management to big campaigns and new business meetings.

How you'd spend your day

  • Client management - you’ll be the key client contact on specific briefs or area of the client business
  • Media relations – you’ll create media strategies, lead media sell-ins, taking responsibility for results. You’ll need to demonstrate a creative approach to media relations, coming up with new stories/angles
  • Talent managers– you’ll lead relationships with talent and influencer agents, ensuring that we’re at the forefront of pairing talent with our brands
  • Managing juniors – you will lead the junior team, setting expectations, helping prioritise their workload and leading by example
  • Writing – you’ll write briefs and press materials for client projects, and contribute to planning / new business decks where appropriate‹
  • Reporting on our success is important so you will need to ensure this process is seamless and detailed‹
  • Creative ideas – you’ll take responsibility for developing regular, proactive creative ideas for retained and project-based accounts
  • You’ll also lead a number of small and medium sized briefs/projects and manage them from start to finish, working closely with your AD

  • You will have a strong understanding of current / emerging cultural trends and social media
  • You will be an expert in the earned media and influencer field
  • An expert on the media and influencer landscape and related trends, who continually pushes themselves to create an outstanding book of media and talent agent contacts‹
  • Someone who is passionate about knowing what’s going on in the world and constantly brings ideas to the table‹
  • An experienced presenter and client counsellor, who can build relationships quickly with clients and win their trust
  • A keen writer
  • Someone with great organisational skills and a stickler for detail
  • An enthusiastic team player
