Pre-Sales Consultant (Cloud Services)

Sapiens UK is looking for a highly motivated and successful Cloud Pre-Sales/Solution Engineer/Consultant in the insurance/financial services software solutions field, with proven senior-level contact management skills, ideally in major software organisations with a strong track record of SaaS/Cloud Services offerings.

Location: UK (Remote) or Cardiff (flexible Hybrid).

Please note that this role is open to UK residents only. We are not offering Visa or Relocation support.

What You’ll Do:

• Be a key member of the Sapiens CTIO Division’s Cloud Services Group.
• Assist Sapiens Sales processes in the SaaS and Cloud Services domains.
• Participate in the main Pre-sales activities:
• RFP / RFI bid management processes
• Answering RFx questions
• Pricing Cloud Services aspects
• Extensive and intensive work with various roles and business units in the Sapiens organization.
• Handle pricing opportunities or changes which are not part of RFx.
• Present SaaS and cloud services to prospects or to an existing customer who are interesting in cloud migration. Understanding prospects and customers motivation and/or constraints which lead eventually to successful outcome.
• Participate in contract writing & negotiation.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• More than 5 year’s experience in a Pre-Sales role.
• Experience working for a large software solutions organization.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to create connections with many organization units and roles to achieve knowledge and information required for the role.
• Experience in proposal writing and presentations.
• Good knowledge and experience in SaaS offerings.
• Experience of Cloud Services Solutions components, including operational aspects of infrastructure, environments, networks and security.
• The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Continuous learning and improvements - Keep up to date on latest advances in SaaS and Cloud technologies and advise accordingly (helping us to keep ahead).
• Be familiar with Sapiens product architecture changes, security regulations and other aspects that impacts the Sapiens offering.
• Flexible with travel - the role may involve some travel to customer site.
