Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a positive impact on the well-being of students? Prendergast Ladywell School is seeking a caring and responsible individual to join our team as a Midday Meals Supervisor. In this role, you will supervise secondary students aged 11 - 16 during their lunch break, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support students during school meals and playtime, promoting healthy eating and positive behaviour.

Ensure a safe environment in the dining area and playground, adhering to the school’s behaviour policy.

Encourage students' social interaction and engage them in team activities and individual pursuits to promote their health and well-being.

Respond to the welfare needs of students, applying first aid if necessary and reporting concerns to the appropriate staff.

About You:

Experience working with groups of children.

Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Hours: 5 hours per week, 1 - 2 pm, Monday to Friday (term-time only, 38 weeks a year)

Salary/Grade: Scale 2 (3 - 4), (£29,286 - £29,703 pro rata)
