Description
The role:

We are looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our Legal Operations department. The role will involve supporting the Pricing Team and wider firm to devise pricing strategies that meet the client’s legal spend objectives whilst proving profitable for our firm.

What will you do:

  • Working with the Head of Pricing and the Pricing Manager to develop fee options in response to RFPs and ad-hoc client and matter requests.
  • Preparing analysis to support proposed fee arrangements and rate negotiations.
  • Helping client teams to articulate our pricing in a client friendly way.
  • Undertaking analysis of financial data to identify trends, and opportunities to help proactively inform future pricing and matter management decisions, including undertaking matter/client deep dives to identify areas of improvement.
  • Identifying opportunities to involve our Legal Project Managers in live matters.
  • Tracking pricing decisions and analysing performance of existing fee agreements to identify opportunities for future improvement.
  • Managing e-auctions.
  • Continuously improving the firm's global pricing processes.
  • Supporting the design, development and implementation of self-service pricing tools.
  • Updating the pricing intranet page to aid the sharing of knowledge and access to useful information.

  • Flexibility and a willingness to work additional hours on occasion as required.
  • Previous financial analysis and/or pricing experience in a professional services firm would be a distinct advantage.
