Role: Principal Designer
Salary: £45k–£90k (DOE)
Location: Fully remote or from one of 9 offices across England

They’re seeking two Principal Designers to lead high-profile projects with a strong focus on building regulations and CDM2015 compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who prefer the technical and regulatory side of the industry over hands-on design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead nationwide projects ensuring compliance with building regulations and CDM2015
- Work with external design teams, offering technical guidance and oversight
- Support the development of the Principal Designer function and explore broader consultancy opportunities
Requirements:
- Strong background in Building Control or Architecture
- Excellent technical writing and compliance knowledge
- In-depth understanding of building regulations (CDM2015 training can be provided)
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently
