What’s the role?
Lewisham Works is an award winning team which has supported over 1000 residents since its launch in 2022, with a focus on authentic, holistic support. Come and be a part of that journey, progressing the further development of employment support for Lewisham residents, in particular for young people and those with disabilities or health issues. You will work with employers, internal colleagues and external stakeholders to best understand the challenges faced; and design and manage solutions which lead to a skilled workforce in sustainable work.
This role is being offered on a temporary 24 month contract.

What We’re Looking For
You will have a keen understanding of the employment support and economic landscape. You will be a skilled project manager, able to draw on a range of resources to effectively plan, manage and deliver employment support. You will ensure programmes serve residents and employers effectively, using data to report, evaluate and continually improve services. You will have great people skills, capably leading a skilled team and working alongside a diverse range of people.
Location
The job is primarily based in Catford, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.

Salary
£53,634 - £55,710 per annum (PO5)
N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
