The Principal Solution Consultant is responsible for implementing our UKG workforce management (WFM) solutions, for UKG customers. As the Principal Solution Consultant, you will sculpt the design of the application and utilize the defined implementation process to meet the established implementation milestones and targeted completion dates. You will also work in a team environment to implement and support products that UKG sells to its customers and will work closely with the UKG Project Managers to complete tasks delegated by the Project Managers toward completing system implementations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with sales, product management, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on customer needs and product capabilities.
• Responsible for the framework, technical and overall solution design.
• Design the solution best fit for the customer requirements and working cross functionally to deliver a best in class solution.
• Preparing functional and technical solution design documents and governing the solution delivered to our customers.
• Work with the project managers to align with project milestones and ensure timely billing.
• Lead project teams in the implementation of solutions, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scope.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape to provide strategic insights to customers, partners and internal teams.
• Govern the overall solution with internal teams, partners and taking part in customer steering committees.
• Assisting with strategic projects in other areas of the business.
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a Computer Sciences or related field
• 6+ years' experience implementing or supporting enterprise software applications and hardware used in web environments (UKG Pro WFM/Oracle/PeopleSoft/SAP Human Resources/Payroll/Time and Labor)
• 6+ years' experience with Pro WFM Timekeeping and Accruals is a must
• Experience with requirements gathering, solution designing, implementing and configuring UKG Products
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in supporting functional testing, integration testing and UAT
• Demonstrated track record in delivering quality, on-time technology and business solutions to a diverse customer base
• Solid interpersonal skills to interface with co-workers and customers and manage specific tasks to completion with minimal direction
• Experience implementing UKG products
