Are you an enthusiastic and qualified Trading Standards Officer looking to advance your career?
Kent Trading Standards Food Chain team is seeking a Food Principal Trading Standards Officer to lead the operational delivery of the Food Standards programme. This role is perfect for someone ready to take on a managerial position or broaden their skills in a dynamic environment.
In this role, you will deliver the full range of Trading Standards work within the Food Standards programme and ensure operational service delivery across the county. We are looking for a dynamic individual with a positive mindset, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to deal firmly but fairly with people. Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills to manage a varied workload and flexibility to adapt to service demands across the county are essential.
The successful candidate will have a Diploma Level 4-5 (or equivalent) and a DCATS qualification (or equivalent) and must be qualified in Food Standards.
Working conditions include a blend of office-based and agile working, with the option to work from home a number of days a week.
