Our Client
Our client, a premium US law firm, is building out its Private Equity practice in London and is looking to hire a talented associate to join the team. The firm advises leading private equity houses, portfolio companies, and management teams on complex, high-value transactions across sectors.
This is a strong opportunity to join a growing team with clear progression prospects and direct exposure to headline-making deals.
The Role
You will work on a wide range of private equity transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, co-investments, and portfolio company matters. The role offers early responsibility, extensive client contact, and the chance to collaborate across offices on cross-border matters.
Responsibilities include:
- Acting as a key deal team member on private equity transactions.
- Drafting and negotiating transaction documents.
- Advising clients on deal structuring and execution.
- Leading on workstreams and managing junior support.
- Engaging in client development initiatives and industry networking.
Requirements
- England & Wales qualified with 2+ years’ PQE from a top-tier UK or international corporate practice.
- Experience advising private equity clients on transactions, ideally including deal structuring and execution.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Excellent drafting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
