Job Opportunity: Process Improvement Manager

Location: Field-based, covering all sites in Scotland

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Eligibility: Must have permanent Right to Work in the UK

Overview

Harbro Ltd is seeking a dedicated Process Improvement Manager to lead and deliver continuous improvement (CI) initiatives across all business areas. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing standardised procedures, KPIs, and promoting a lean and efficient operational culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion continuous improvement culture across the business.
• Apply Lean/Six Sigma techniques to drive CI projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate all options for impactful CI strategies.
• Ensure successful change management and project execution in partnership with the Project Manager.
• Monitor, measure, and report the success of implemented process changes.
• Develop and document SOPs, KPIs, and success criteria for all improvements.
• Lead regular communication with project teams (weekly pulse calls, monthly check-ins).
• Present updates at monthly CI Group meetings.
• Identify and recommend process enhancements.

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

• Lean or Six Sigma qualification (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in IT and emerging technologies.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• High personal integrity and reliability.
• Effective time management and delegation capabilities.
