.As a Procurement Assistant you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Procurement function. This role will provide administrative and transactional support to ensure that procurement processes are efficient, accurate, and compliant. The role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude who is looking to grow within a commercial or procurement environment.

• } Raise, amend, and track purchase orders (POs) in the finance/procurement system in line with internal processes - dependent on process mapping outpu

• Support supplier onboarding, including due diligence, data collection, and system setu

• Maintain and update the central contract and supplier database, ensuring records are accurate and curren
t
• Monitor contract expiry dates and support renewal processes with category manager
s
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, including accurate documentation and audit trail
s
• Respond to internal queries regarding PO status, supplier setup, and invoice matching- dependent on process mapping outpu
t
• Support the Procurement team with meeting coordination, document preparation, and reportin
g
• Assist with market research, quote gathering, and administrative tasks for sourcing project
s
• Liaise with Finance and Legal teams to support smooth purchase-to-pay (P2P) workflows - dependent on process mapping outpu
