What you’ll be doing
- Embedding smart, evidence-based product management practices that align with our Conduct Risk Framework, Policies and Consumer Duty standards
- Providing first-line assurance over product proposals and reviews to ensure they deliver the right outcomes for customers.
- Support regular product monitoring routines to identify potential harms to our customers and driving issue resolution.
- Evolving our product governance frameworks, managing controls across the three lines of defence for all new and changing products.
- Support the evolution of VM’s product governance frameworks, with management of controls for all new products, or changes to products across VM’s three lines of defence.
- Evolving our product governance frameworks and managing controls across the three lines of defence for all new and changing products.
- Advising business units on all aspects of product governance requirements
- Delivering timely, accurate, and insightful risk reporting to executive governance forums.
- Building strong, professional relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
We need you to have
- A genuine passion for delivering great customer outcomes and being the voice of the customer.
- Experience in product governance, particularly around new or changing product
- A solid understanding of risk and control environments, with a focus on Conduct Risk.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to present findings clearly to senior audiences
- A focus on detail along with the ability to present your findings to a senior audience in a clear and concise manner
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, adaptable across all levels of the organisation
It’s a bonus if you have but not essential
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory and business practices for Commercial products.
- Experience with Consumer Duty, including fair value assessments
- A university degree or equivalent experience in financial services
