Product Manager

The Opportunity

Oversee the lifecycle of software products tailored for airport operations and management. This role involves understanding market, industry & customer needs, defining product vision, and ensuring that the software solutions delivers commercial value, solves problems and delivers a tangible return on investment..

The ideal candidate must have domain airport or airline knowledge or experience.

You will make an impact by....  

• Defining the product strategy, vision, and roadmap, including timelines for the development of new products, features, and services. 
• Developing and communicating compelling value propositions and key messages based on identified problem statements, translating them into new product ideas or enhancements. 
• Defining the product strategy and vision, aligning with business owners and key stakeholders to ensure business value is maximized. 
• Sharing knowledge and experience with other members of the Products team to develop a common understanding and approach to product direction and development. 
• Managing third-party partnerships by defining requirements, prioritizing needs, and coordinating product development and other activities with external partners. 
• Delivering user requirement documents and functional specifications with prioritized features and justifications. 
• Providing expert support and product materials to the business development team, positioning ADB Safegate to win new business with a market-leading proposition. 
• Conducting regular training and briefings for internal regional teams on product updates. 
• Defining, coordinating, and implementing an effective 'go to market' strategy for the products, including an evolving marketing plan. 
• Collaborating with the Marketing team on product positioning, messaging, and gathering market intelligence for new products. 
• Preparing and delivering presentations at trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and customer events worldwide. 
• Preparing and organizing product demonstrations to win opportunities. 
• Interacting directly with customers to understand their requirements and gather feedback for product development and enhancements. 
• Monitoring industry trends, competition, and market conditions to ensure the product remains relevant and competitive. 
• Identifying and evaluating new product ideas or enhancements based on customer input, market needs, and internal feedback. 
• Facilitating co-innovation with customers to validate key features and prioritize them based on effort and business impact  

The talent we inspire has...

• Expertise and experience in the airport or airline industry domain
• In depth knowledge of systems which are used to implement business processes in the airport and airline environment. 
• Good working knowledge of Product Management methodologies (e.g. Stage Gate) as well as Product Development methodologies 
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to hold an audience; 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to negotiate with and influence a broad range of stakeholders at all levels; 
• Ability to communicate technical information to a business user and translate business process requirements into technical solutions design; 

Plus, but not a must:

• Experience of budget and requirements management. 
• A demonstrated track record of success in delivering lasting results in a global business environment and within a technology solutions-based business 
• Innovation skills and a track record of significant experience in defining market requirements and functional specifications.
