We’re seeking a brilliant, creative and curious Product Manager with commercial experience to join an ambitious and customer-obsessed product team. This position presents a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in commercial product management as you apply your market knowledge to influence the continual development of Blis’ platform.
This is a global role that sits within the, primarily UK-based, Blis Product & Product Marketing team and you will be working collaboratively at the leading edge of ad tech innovation with experts across every aspect of our platform and the wider industry.
Blis’ Commercial Product Team focus on product strategy, product partnerships and product training. All roles within the team work across each of these areas with different levels of focus; the Product Manager, Commercial will primarily work on Audience Explorer, Blis’ unique audience planning and measurement tool, and the partnerships that play a vital role in the platform’s continued success. They will have a direct impact on the success of our business and work at the leading edge of innovation in the ad tech industry.
The position is full-time, based provisionally in London with some flexibility. We’ve embraced flexible working and expect this to continue indefinitely, but regular onsite visits will be required for both internal meetings, partner meetings and supporting commercial teams in client sessions, with occasional travel to international Blis markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive our product roadmap as it relates to the data partnerships that play a hugely valuable role in our platform. This relates to evaluating and onboarding new data opportunities as well as continuing to deploy and grow existing partnerships.
- Be the expert on Audience Explorer, Blis’ unique audience planning tool, assisting commercial teams and clients in their ongoing learning and understanding of new platform features.
- Partner closely with the technical product and product marketing teams to a) feed into the product roadmap based on your experience working with customers, colleagues & your understanding of the market trends and b) support the go-to-market of new platform features.
- Commitment to Blis' Inclusion initiatives & 5 step sustainability plan.
Skills And Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in the programmatic industry: this could be at a media agency, publisher or ad tech platform.
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills: the ability to take complex topics and make them simple and digestible is key.
- Creative and innovative mindset: the habit of thinking proactively about the ways a solution could improve to better meet the needs of its customers and anticipating future needs.
- An understanding of the core components of programmatic media and the businesses in market providing competing solutions.
- Experience working with clients, listening to challenges and educating on how your business/platform can provide solutions.
