We are looking for a Marketplace Product Manager to lead in answering the why (i.e. vision and strategy) and what (i.e. priorities), supporting their team and facilitating a clear focus on customer needs and business goals.
What's the job?
As the Marketplace Product Manager, with your in-depth knowledge of agile, productised ways of working and deep domain and operational experience, you will use your influencing and leadership skills to support our functions and banners, providing our customers with convenient delivery options. You will also scale our capability with the latest technology and ensure we use our resources efficiently to deliver more choice for our customers.
- Product vision & strategy: Is responsible for the product vision & strategy, in alignment with the strategic direction of the business and group. Ensures the vision and strategy are clearly understood at all levels - team, stakeholders, domain and group leadership
- OKRs & Product metrics: Is responsible for the definition of outcome-based OKRs & product metrics and is accountable to measure, track and use it for strategic prioritisation decisions.
- Value articulation: Performs cost-benefit analysis to assess the size of opportunities, provides clear recommendations and uses it for investment and prioritisation decisions.
- Customer centricity: Deeply understands the customers, in partnership with the design team, and champions the mindset within the team to ensure decisions are made with customers or users in mind
What You'll Bring
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in building high-performance, delivery-focused & data-driven product teams.
- Proven experience of successful delivery of large-scale e-commerce change.
- Extensive experience of working in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey sophisticated commercial and technical challenges in a user-friendly way.
- Previous line management experience is helpful
- Ability to present technical details simply to business partners to enable them to collaborate easily.
- An investigative and curious mind that facilitates problem-solving activities.
- A results-orientated mindset that understands the importance of speed in decision making.
- Able to guide others through change effectively and skilled in finding a ‘situation where everyone is happy’.
- Ability and willingness to mentor others and learn from others.
