Production Design Manager (Infrastructure, CRS – Cambridge)

As part of a joint venture with Anglian Water, Skanska is seeking a
Production Design Manager to join our infrastructure team in Cambridge to work on the Cambridge Relocation Scheme. This project for Anglian Water involves designing and constructing a new greenfield Waste Water Treatment Plant, which will support future economic development in the Greater Cambridge area and create a sustainable water and recycling service.
What you'll do:
- Actively participate in the engineering leadership team to manage and develop a top-tier engineering design team.
- Create and manage the project design management plan, resources and deliverables.
- Oversee document control and maintain the Master Information Delivery Plan.
- Manage BIM processes and assist in appointing and managing contractors.
- Monitor and report the design progress against the programme and costs.
- Drive excellence in Health & Safety and engage, support and contribute to the wider Alliance and Anglian Water engineering community.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Engineering degree.
- Demonstrable technical experience of designing multi-disciplinary water industry capital projects.
- Project management experience and membership of APM or IPM.
- Proven record in delivering water design projects to program, budget and quality requirements.
- Experience or understanding on construction, procurement and commissioning.
