12-month fixed term contract, with possibility of becoming permanent

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Production Planner to join our Supply Chain team. The successful candidate will convert demand into detailed manufacturing schedules, ensuring timely and complete supply plans. This role requires high accuracy and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with our Manufacturing teams and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate efficient product manufacturing schedules using SAP and RapidResponse, considering supply plans, inventory policies, and budget adherence.
  • Lead monthly planning meetings with stakeholders to align on manufacturing schedules and budget volumes.
  • Support daily batch reviews to ensure timely supply of manufactured items, expediting when necessary and communicating deviations clearly.
  • Assess and report manufacturing capacity requirements, escalating barriers and suggesting mitigation strategies.
  • Manage daily process orders via SAP and RapidResponse, promoting good SAP housekeeping practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships internally and externally to ensure material availability and meet demand.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent qualifications, or experience in a similar role
  • SAP/other MRP experience, or willingness to learn
  • Willingness to develop and diversify skillset
  • Comfortable leading conversations, energised by collaborating with others
  • Proactive nature with the ability to influence and foster decisions
