Role Title: Programme Design & Events Coordinator

Location: Derby (Hybrid) - Client-Site x3 times p/w + additional travel UK-wide

Hours / Shifts: Full time - 37.5 hours per week

The Role:

You’ll work onsite/hybrid with Rolls Royce Emerging Talent Team collaborating with the Recruitment and Programme Management Team, senior stakeholders, Attraction Teams and will create and deliver innovative and tailored programs to build talent pipelines and support talent pools.

You’ll be partnering closely with the Learning Team, the role is responsible for supporting the execution of programmes.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the design of our partnership programmes with key education providers and operationalise these programmes
  • Support the design of strategic talent pipeline projects working closely with the Global Programme Design Manager
  • Support programme project plans, leading and co-ordinating project work streams to ensure seamless delivery
  • Creating a communication plan working in conjunction with marketing team (pre to post programmes)
  • Taking part in learning design and content reviews
  • Planning and organising programme sessions, events, logistics, materials, etc
  • Leading the programme evaluation through online surveys & focus groups and the end-of-programme reviews based on participants, recruiter and stakeholder feedback to evaluate impact and quality of training
  • Support delivering presentations and co-hosting training events
  • Managing stakeholders within business areas – providing regular project updates
  • When required you will support the recruitment team in the end-to-end recruitment processes including project work

Skills & Experience:


Must haves:

  • Events management & events coordination experience
  • Project management / coordination experience
  • Strong Presentation skills – facilitating/ designing and delivering skills sessions
  • Strong organisation and planning skills
  • Experience working in complex and highly matrixed organisations
  • Familiarity with Talent Acquisition processes (eg. Early Careers, volume recruitment)
  • Experience in designing, delivering and/or facilitating soft skills and employability training sessions; vendor selection and management
  • Strong stakeholder management experience with the ability to build relationships and influence up to Senior Leadership level
  • Competent using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word)
  • Ability to multi-task competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Problem solving, analytical thinking and handling data
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work towards deadlines
  • Flexibility with regards to availability for stakeholder meetings
  • Working with senior stakeholders within an Admin capacity
  • Supporting development of Early Careers programmes
