Allen Lane are proud to be supporting the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) in their search for a Digital Programme Director on a 24-month fixed term contract.
As Programme Director, you will focus on the RegulatoryConnect, a digitally enabled change programme designed to update and modernize all our regulatory processes following EU Exit, to ensure they are fit for purpose and efficient. The programme will use best in class/emerging technologies to enable our highly skilled workforce to make prompt and risk proportionate decisions about the safety and efficacy of medicines and medical devices.
RegulatoryConnect is part of our wider ambition to make the MHRA the regulator of choice internationally, bringing innovative medicines and medical devices (including AI) to UK patients first and supporting the growth and development of the UK Life Sciences industry.
The Programme Director will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the Programme, which is currently in flight and is of critical importance.
You will work with the SRO to ensure the programme scope and deliverables are clear and reflected in the Programme business case, while defining the required programme roles to deliver success. You will collaborate with the senior supplier to scope statements of work and ensure they are delivered on time and on budget, and ensure that all suppliers to the programme are actively managed and meet their performance targets, taking swift appropriate action if this is not the case.
The MHRA are seeking a swift appointment, with the anticipated start date by 30th June 2025.
