Are you looking for a short-term project where you can make a real difference and deliver meaningful change?
We’re seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join the Westmorland and Furness Council Programme Management Office on a temporary basis, supporting the delivery of our Council Plan Annual Plan for 2025/26.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving the Priority Delivery Programme, working closely with service leaders, elected members, partners, and Trade Union colleagues. You will lead the development and delivery of a multi-faceted programme, ensuring outcomes are sustainable, affordable, and fit for purpose.
A key part of the role will involve constructively challenging current ways of working and taking an evidence-based approach to benefits realisation. You will support service improvement that is customer-focused, innovative, and efficient.
