Project Director

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of a major traditional build residential development in the Buckinghamshire area.

This is a high-profile scheme incorporating extensive housing and complex infrastructure works across a large site.

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a proven track record at Project Director level, ideally gained within leading UK residential developers or contractors.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience delivering large-scale, multi-phase housing schemes from pre-construction through to completion, with a strong focus on quality, programme and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full project leadership and accountability for the delivery of a significant residential development and associated infrastructure.
• Coordination and management of site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and key stakeholders.
• Oversight of programme, budget, quality, health & safety and client satisfaction.
• Strategic input at pre-construction and planning stages, including buildability reviews and sequencing.
• Drive performance to meet business objectives and ensure exceptional delivery standards.

Candidate Profile:

• Substantial experience operating at Project Director level on large-scale traditional build residential schemes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and commercial acumen.
• Proven ability to manage complex developments including site-wide infrastructure works.
• Professional and confident with a collaborative approach and high standards.

Package:

• Up to £125,000 basic salary
