Project Director - UK North Business Unit, Oxford/Cambridge
John Sisk & Son are looking for a Project Director to lead a £70m Advanced Manufacturing project in Oxford and to be a senior member of the growing MOXCAM (Midlands, Oxford and Cambridge) team within the UK North business unit. A broad range of experience across Advanced Manufacturing, residenital, healthcare and commercial will be considered.

Role
Reporting to the Regional Director/BU MD, the Project Director has overall responsibility for the management and onsite construction of major/complex contracts of values typically in excess of £60m. Generally involved from tender stage, as the project lead, liaising with the Estimating team to secure the project. Thereafter with the approval of the Regional Director / Regional MD, will prepare the PEP and build the project team in preparation for the contract commencement. The Project Director will be responsible for managing the Company’s business interests, risk & delivery strategy on the contract to guide the project to Commercial success.
Experience & Skills
- Previously undertaken successful tier 1 Project director on scheme value of £50m upwards
- Extensive construction experience, with a key focus around working on advanced manufacturing
- Programme and delivery focused
- CVRs, PEP and Contract Management
Qualifications
- Academic and/or Professional qualification in construction related subject. Ideally chartered
- SMSTS
