The Offshore Project Engineer will provide on-site engineering support to the Project Manager or Offshore Construction Superintendent. The position ensures project objectives are met in alignment with QA/QC and HSE standards and adheres to project plans and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Offshore Construction Superintendent and Assistant to execute assigned tasks.
- Monitor construction/installation progress to ensure operations meet quality standards.
- Develop and apply installation and maintenance methods.
- Maintain and utilize the electronic daily progress report to track actual vs. planned activities.
- Verify subcontractor performance and operational effectiveness.
- Coordinate with project personnel and onboard staff to ensure smooth preparation and execution of field operations.
- Supervise yard activities related to offshore construction.
- Oversee asset contract monitoring.
- Apply project engineering principles during construction activities.
- Act as the liaison with the Client’s technical representatives for engineering-related concerns.
- Conduct technical verifications and quality assurance on the field.
Qualifications:
- Offshore Experience: Prior experience in offshore installation projects.
- Certifications:
- Valid BOSIET (with CA-EBS).
- Offshore medical certificate.
- Full GWO certification.
