Salary for this position is £45,000 to £58,000, depending on experience plus our excellent flexible benefits package.
This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract (FTC).
We offer hybrid working - for this role ideally we are looking for an average of 2 days per week per month on site.

Job Description
As a Project Manager working with us you will have an instrumental role in the integration of cutting-edge defence and security systems, delivering decisive advantage to military, government and civil customers worldwide. Typical Responsibilities Include
- Manage and deliver multiple projects within the GD Missions Systems and C4I area
- Lead competitive and non-competitive bids for similar work
- Ensure timely provision of programme deliverables, performance metrics, and progress reports
- Maintain programme budgetary control and effective risk management
- Plan and execute projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Lead project teams, working closely with lead engineers and customer counterparts
- Collaborate with customers, partners, and suppliers in the defence industry
- Deliver projects within allocated time, budget, and quality requirements
- Manage a portfolio of projects of medium complexity
- Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth and improvement

To Be Successful In The Role You Will Bring
- Proven experience in programme/project management within complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Strong understanding of programme management principles, techniques, and best practices
- Excellent communication skills with ability to manage customer relationships effectively
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira)
- Strong leadership skills with a proactive and goal-oriented approach to project delivery
- Expertise in risk management and problem-solving
- Programme Management qualification (e.g. APMP) desirable
