Project Manager

Role:

Drives end-to-end project planning, applying and following project standards and tools, and reporting across functional projects. Working alongside the business, Data and Technology teams, the Project Manager will be working on key projects to support Canopius’ growth ambitions for the next 3 years.

Responsibilities:

• Delivers projects with defined scope, success criteria and key performance indicators (KPIs) within budget and time standards set by Canopius' project management office, covering all process and striving for continuous improvement.
• Delivers transparent and efficient resource planning and allocation processes for ongoing projects within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Delivers project reviews proactively, monitoring the progress and results of all ongoing projects and acts upon action points to achieve KPIs.
• Maintains the accuracy of all project / programme level documentation.
• Drives end-to-end project plans for assigned projects, including highlighting and reporting any variances that impact project delivery to relevant stakeholders.
• Manages and escalates project risks, actions, issues and dependencies through proactive communication and collaboration with stakeholders and various teams.
• Maintains effective project governance and reporting in line with project management standards
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to capture and prioritise project demands and to ensure communications are clear, transparent and timely.
• Supports successful adoption of the solution, ensuring appropriate roll-out strategy and engagement.
• Building high performing cross functional teams and bringing them with the project in the success journey.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven track record of successful end to end delivery of large projects.
• Good stakeholder management skills as the role will involve working with cross functional teams, people from all areas of the organisation and at all levels
• Effective communication and presentation skills tailored for the needs of the audience
• Being proactive and working in a structured way
• Ability to produce high quality project documentation
• Experience working with third parties and vendors is required
• Experience working in the insurance sector.
• Lloyd’s of London Market experience is a plus.
• Any experience with transformation and Outsourcing domain is highly preferred.
