Are you an experienced Project Manager? Are you looking for a new challenge?
GES are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join our Logistics team. You will deliver profitable and quality driven logistics operations to global events where GES is appointed as official provider or for clients with shipments to events in the UK and Worldwide. You will manage assigned events within the company portfolio from concept through to completion and lead the logistics operation whilst onsite at each event.

What will you do?
You Will
- Deliver consistent high-quality operations to position GES as the premier logistics player in the UK and overseas market
- Manage and provide effective support to logistics operations at events where GES is appointed official supplier
- Plan and coordinate all events activities, ensuring plans are communicated to relevant personnel both internal and external
- Manage the Import/Export process, create shipping instructions and tariffs for events and arrange customs clearance as required
- Ensure H&S regulations are adhered to including the preparation of risk assessments and method statements.
- Manage onsite resources during event, liaising with relevant managers and maintaining open communication with the client.
What you’ll need
You will be an experienced Project Manager with experience of working within Operations, Warehouse or Logistics. You will have a detailed knowledge of Import and Export Procedures with a passion for events and a desire to travel within the UK and Internationally.

Salary
This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary, dependent on experience. We operate a reward strategy based on our team members receiving a salary that best reflects their experience and skill level.
Hours of work
You may be required to work evenings and weekends during busy periods to meet the demands of the business, including overseas travel as required.
Annual leave
Our holiday entitlement is 25 days per annum (plus bank holidays and statutory public holidays).
