What’s the Opportunity

We have a dynamic project management team in Leeds working on a wide range of commercial projects ranging from Commercial fit out offices up to large scale I&L and healthcare developments working alongside the various NHS estates.

We have a specific need for an enterprising Project Manager to join our team working both independently and as part of a wider team on projects ranging from £1 million to £200 million.

We currently have healthcare projects of varying scope and complexity that require a Project Manager to deliver. This position offers the chance to develop your skills and progress your career in a role that will give you the opportunities to oversee projects from concept to completion, working closely with clients and managing all aspects of each project.

What you need to do to be effective in this role

• Develop detailed client's brief and define responsibilities of the wider consultancy team.
• Establish and maintain communication with the client and the design team
• Manage feasibility studies, including site surveys, site investigation, site evaluation etc
• Co-ordinate and obtain planning consents and all necessary statutory approvals
• Interview and select contractors for tendering or negotiation, evaluate tenders received and appoint contractor
• Inspect and monitor the construction works with regard to quality and conformity to agreed specifications and drawings
• Prepare regular reports to clients on all aspects of the project including progress, programme, costs, risks and quality
• Provide a single point of contact taking responsibility for all aspects of the project and liaise with our clients
• Lead on the development, submission and approval of various business cases required for the NHS
  
  

The skills and experience you need to have for this role

• Experience of working within both JCT and NEC forms of contract
• Proficient in the use of MS Office
• Experience of working with multidisciplinary consultants across a wide range of schemes
