Key Accountabilities:
- Provide strategic direction for project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and timely completion.
- Take full ownership of all project stages, from initial concept through to final handover, with a strong emphasis on quality and innovation.
- Cultivate and maintain strong collaborative relationships with subcontractors, site management teams, and key project stakeholders.
- Champion a culture of safety, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and overseeing the creation and implementation of Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
- Lead pre-construction meetings, manage design coordination processes, and ensure seamless installations.
- Maintain financial oversight, tracking budgets, processing invoices, and finalizing accounts in collaboration with senior management.
Skills & Background:
Essential:
- A minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience as a Project Manager, ideally within high-end residential or commercial leisure fit-out projects.
- Proven ability to manage the complete project lifecycle, including pre-construction, development, tender/award, and project closure.
- Strong competence in interpreting construction drawings, managing budgets, and developing project schedules.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and equipment.
- Knowledge of relevant local and national building codes and standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong focus on achieving results through effective stakeholder management.
Desirable:
- Experience in refurbishment and fit-out projects within sectors such as Spa, Leisure, Residential, or Retail.
- Excellent communication and proactive problem-solving capabilities.
- Affiliation or interest in relevant professional bodies (e.g., RICS, APM).
