Job Title: Project Manager – Aviation/Aerospace

Location: Birmingham

Contract: 5-month contract, Outside IR35

Rate: £500 per day

Start Date: Immediate

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the facility readiness workstream on a high-profile Aviation/Aerospace facility conversion project. This is a complex and fast-moving program, requiring strong leadership and coordination skills.

You will work closely with the Program Director to ensure all milestones are achieved on time and to military standards. The role involves managing a detailed master schedule, leading multiple teams, and maintaining clear communication across all stakeholders, including regulatory bodies.

This is a hands-on role where strong stakeholder management and proactive delivery are essential. You must be comfortable facilitating meetings, driving progress, and ensuring program governance is consistently applied.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the facility readiness master schedule
• Coordinate internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders
• Facilitate regular progress meetings and program reviews
• Identify and manage risks, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance
• Deliver program objectives on schedule and to required standards

Requirements:

• Experience delivering large aviation or aerospace programs
• Strong skills in MS Project and schedule management
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proven ability to manage complex programs under time pressure

Contract Details:

• £500 per day (Outside IR35)
• 5-month initial term, with extension potential
• Immediate start
