We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join the our Engineered Solutions business stream on a full time permanent basis. The Project manager will under the ‘One Team’ approach be responsible for the delivery of technical solutions across the internal and external delivery functions of Engineered Solutions. The single point of contact will be developed where the through ownership of technical solutions will lead a standard approach, documented at each stage with specific job sponsors.
Main Duties
- Uses their Technical Capability to advise on all activities where there is a Production interface between ES and the Internal delivery.
- Is responsible for maintaining the front end Delivery Schedule.
- Will liaise with the planning team to coordinate job activity.
- Will liaise with the Delivery Managers to agree the coordination of jobs within the Project timeline.
- Will support trades and teams across the delivery of works ensuring that the tasks are complete to the desired and acceptable standard.
- Will inspect works at the installation and commissioning stages across internal jobs as requested.
- Provide job reports and condition, identifying correct method of rectifying faults
- Identification of possible future work based off jobs we are carrying out.
- Prepare status reports for ES Management meetings
- Prepare status reports for Project meetings and Board requirements
- Continue to develop technical ability across all interfaces on all ES delivery fronts.
To be considered for this position you will have at least 2-3 years previous experience within a Project management or similar level role ideally within an engineering environment and be qualified ideally to degree level within a engineering discipline. Candidates will also require previous experience of working within an electrical or mechanical discipline. Due to the nature of the role travel to various sites throughout the country is required so a valid UK driving licence is essential for the role.
