Base location: Glasgow or Perth with the option of hybrid working 2/3 days per week

Salary: £25,000 to £37,400 dep on exp + performance related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances, and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Maternity Contract - 1 year Full time with Flexible working options available

What is the Role?

The Projects Support Analyst will support the development of the Projects and Programmes Team reporting and demand management capability within Delivery.

Work with a range of stakeholders across several work streams, contributing to the development and maintenance of new processes and solutions. The work streams will include (but are not limited to) Risk Management, Project Performance Reporting, Resource Allocation, Quality Assurance, Governance, Resource Utilisation and Forecasting and driving Continuous Performance Improvement.

What do I need?

  • This is a key role which requires a communicator demonstrating refined stakeholder and engagement skills, who is comfortable challenging ideas/requirements and driving decisions.
  • Strong and decisive leadership required to lead change initiatives and influence how Project Managers are working.
  • Proactive and self-motivated to drive activities to successful completion
  • Continuous improvement: identifies opportunities for continuous improvement, shows commitment to own professional development; demonstrates enthusiasm, willingness and ability to learn new skills.
  • Decisive ‘can do’ attitude whilst maintaining a clear focus on problem solving and seeing action through to delivery
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly in terms of data analysis and presenting management Information
  • Must be comfortable working on new initiatives
  • Ability to learn; understands and adapts to new ways of working, is willing and able to engage with, and digest, new tools/software, information, specialisms, and ways of working
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, who can identify requirements to meet needs of audience in a pro-active manner

About you

In addition to your technical skills and experience you will need to be proactive, self-motivated, and customer focussed.

You’ll have ‘can-do’ attitude, be able to challenge barriers to delivery and demonstrate strong, decisive leadership.

With great organisational skills, you possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively on your own initiative, as well as part of a team.

First-class communication skills at all levels are important, together with the ability to negotiate and challenge idea/requirements and drive decision making.

  • Experienced in Governance including creating and maintaining process documents and ensuring adherence to process.
  • Excellent Analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
  • Data analysis and experience of developing and maintaining MI reports
  • Experienced in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulae
  • Confident user of Power Point to produce Management Information presentations
