Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities We are looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Assistant to handle a variety of repair, maintenance, and general upkeep tasks at our Parliament Square office and occasional travel to other sites in our UK portfolio. This role ensures our facilities are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete a range of repair and maintenance tasks, including joinery, electrical, plumbing, painting, and general repairs.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Maintain building security and appearance, including outdoor landscaping and litter clearance.
- Manage consumable stock levels, maintain tools and safety equipment, and keep storage areas tidy.
- Provide support for event logistics, such as setting up meeting room furniture and ensuring clear pedestrian access.
About You
- Experienced in property maintenance with strong handyman skills across electrical, plumbing, and decorating.
- Detail-oriented, professional, and physically fit to meet the demands of the role.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and sound repair practices.
- Able to work independently, follow instructions, and adapt to changing priorities.
- A team player with a proactive and enthusiastic attitude, willing to travel occasionally within the UK.
