About Circuit Mind

Electronic circuit boards are at the core of current and future inventions - space travel, medical robotics, autonomous transportation, augmented reality, bio-engineering. Yet today designing an electronic circuit board is an extremely manual, long and tedious process. At Circuit Mind we believe that this is wrong and we are on a mission to fix it, triggering the future of hardware design. To achieve its mission, Circuit Mind has created a library of electronic component digital twins. Each digital twin models the data of the component’s datasheet. These digital twins are then utilised by Circuit Mind’s platform to generate circuit designs that align with user specifications.

We are creating an entirely new software engine for circuit boards, that takes as inputs the requirements of a circuit board and automatically outputs a complete design, ready for manufacture.

Mission

Your mission is to QA the electronic components built by our library engineering team. Each database entry captures a component’s full definition—vital to Circuit Mind’s goal of powering the next wave of hardware innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Rapidly and thoroughly QA electronic components in our advanced EDA platform:
  • Review datasheets to understand component behaviour.
  • Verify models including pins, interfaces, configurations, and auxiliary components.
  • Collaborate with library engineers to devise smart ways to model novel components.
  • Support the software team by informing improvements to digital twin creation.
  • Improve component representations: flag missing features in the current model, suggest simplifications to existing abstractions.

Minimum qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in electronics circuit design.
  • Proficiency in selecting components for analogue, digital and mixed signal circuit boards.
  • Knowledge of schematic design principles for analogue, digital and mixed signal circuit boards.
  • Experience with at least one professional electronic CAD software package (Mentor, Cadence, Altium, Zuken) and willingness to learn others.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Ability to work productively in a team.
  • Ability to use Excel.

Nice to haves

  • Experience in schematic capture and/or component selection for relatively complex circuit boards: 100+ components, 4+ layers, high-speed digital signals, sensitive analog components.
  • Experience in circuit analysis such as timing analysis, transient analysis, DC operating point calculations.
  • Experience in circuit simulation and/or modelling.
  • Knowledge of PCB layout principles for analogue, digital and mixed signal circuit boards.
  • Experience with creating and verifying component symbols and footprints.

Benefits

  • Collaboration with a friendly world-class team.
  • Above market rate salary and meaningful equity.
  • 25 days of annual holidays plus bank holidays.
  • Flexible working hours with two days a week in the office.
  • 5 weeks per year to work wherever you want in the world.
  • London Bridge office.
  • Extended parental leave.
  • Learning and development budget to support your professional development.
  • Access to Circuit Mind’s cutting edge EDA platform.

At Circuit Mind we value diversity and foster an inclusive environment. If you have an additional necessity or disability that requires accommodation, please let us know so we can adjust the interview process to your needs. We also ensure that Circuit Mind’s straight-forward and efficient hiring process respects your time.
