Location: London (Hybrid - 2 days a week onsite)

About the Company:

Join an innovative omni-channel retailer based in London that’s rapidly growing and driving the future of e-commerce!


As a result of their ongoing success they are looking for a talented QA / QA Manager to join their team. In this role, you'll play a vital role in ensuring their products deliver a seamless customer experience across all digital platforms.


We are looking for a QA that has lead other QA’s before and is ready to take that next step in to management. You will have the opportunity to involved with the wider QA strategy with one of the UK’s leading retailers.


You'll lead a team of 8 QA engineers in both manual and automation testing, increasing test automation coverage, driving quality across multiple development teams, and mentoring the QA team to reach their full potential.


This is a hybrid role where you will still be hands on while managing a team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of 8 QA engineers, fostering growth and best practices.
  • Oversee both manual and automation testing across web and mobile applications.
  • Increase automation coverage and transition the company’s automation framework from SpecFlow/Reqnroll to Playwright.
  • Collaborate with multiple development teams on project work and ensure high testing standards.
  • Implement and refine QA processes to align with industry best practices.
  • Advocate for test automation, CI/CD, and continuous improvement in QA methodologies.


Tech Stack & Tools:

  • Programming & Frameworks: C#, Playwright, SpecFlow, Reqnroll
  • Testing Tools: BrowserStack, Gherkin, GitLab
  • CI/CD & Collaboration: GitLab for version control and CI/CD integration


What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a QA Manager or Lead, with expertise in both manual and automation testing.
  • Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks, particularly Playwright and SpecFlow.
  • Hands-on experience with C#, Gherkin, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to guide, mentor, and upskill QA engineers to enhance team capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across multiple development teams.
