With a spotlight on recycling and reuse of materials, we are continually working to develop and trial sustainable materials which incorporate increasingly higher proportions of recycled content.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial aspects of multiple frameworks in the South East, reporting directly to the Commercial Manager. The role involves managing costs, contracts, and relationships to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor project costs and maximise value.
- Manage accounts and subcontracts with key supply chain partners.
- Prepare cost/value reports for periodic reviews.
- Collaborate with Contracts Managers to set accurate budgets.
- Conduct financial assessments through to final accounts.
- Prepare sub-contract orders and assist with procurement.
- Handle change management and valuation processes.
- Support other commercial functions as required.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- BSc in Quantity Surveying (desirable).
- Experience with NEC3 & NEC4 contracts, particularly Option C (essential).
- Experience working on Target Cost Contracts, preferably with National Highways.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Full UK Driving Licence (Company Car Provided).
