Quantity Surveyor - Responsibilities
- Develop and implement efficient, scalable quotation processes to drive profitability.
- Manage team workloads, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Mentor and upskill team members in commercial and contractual processes.
- Monitor and integrate overheads into proposals to ensure financial accuracy.
- Collaborate with Design and Estimating teams to deliver commercially viable, inspiring workspace solutions.
- Lead tender submissions to maximise win rates and revenue.
- Review and analyse quotations to improve margins and reduce risks.
- Engage with clients pre-project to align on objectives and commercial goals.
- Contribute to weekly departmental updates with actionable insights.
In order to be successful as our Quantity Surveyor you should have:
- Experience working as a QS for main Contractors
- MRICS / Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying or commercial management
- Experienced in JCT contracts and tenders, working at £10M+
- Experience in juggling multiple projects and will be in your element managing various schedules and workloads
- An impressive knowledge of tender processes and a thorough grip on costing commercial environments and products
- A strong communicator with a forensic eye for detail, a problem solver with an analytical way of thinking
- Highly proficient in Microsoft excel
- Full UK/EU driving license
- Fluent in English
